Pryer launches nationally: calm, honest neighbourhood awareness — without the fear
A new Australian app, Pryer, is helping people know what's happening near the places they care about — their own street, a parent's home, the kids' school — with timely, trustworthy alerts and honest local context, rather than a crime-panic feed.
Most of us find out about local incidents last, or never. Pryer closes that gap while deliberately avoiding the fear-driven design of some safety apps: it watches places and incidents, not people, shows an official recorded-incident layer so context stays honest, and never tracks people or sells location data.
Core alerts, the map and reporting are free for everyone. A household plan (Pryer+) extends that awareness to the people and places you can't be.
